Auberge de Temple – arrive and never want to leave again

You have ever arrived at a hotel and have said to your loved ones: “Okay, change of plans: we just stay for three days at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful rooms, sauna and in the evening we indulge ourselves in this magnificent restaurant.” That happened to us, as we have some detours on the way to the Frankfurt book fair, where I should cook in the gourmet Gallery, at the Auberge de Temple. Happy winners! A hot dinner event in Hamburg!

Normally I never win anything. I thought. But indeed, some weeks ago I had really won two tickets for the base camp of Hamburg’s „Kitchen Guerillas“ in a weekly newspaper called „die ZEIT“. Frankfurt book fair: Captain’s Dinner cooked on stage of the Gourmet Gallery!

The authors of the two best recipes had been invited to visit this year’s book fair in Frankfurt to cook their recipes in the show kitchen of the „Gourmet Gallery“ together with bio-leading chef Christian Kolb. I won this trip with my recipe of an onion bread soup!
